The "Deja Vu" singer, 19, was photographed grabbing lunch with Bia, 25, on Monday, April 25, before going for a walk around New York's SoHo neighborhood. The Field Trip record label founder appeared to have his arm around Rodrigo as they walked, which continued to fuel romance rumors between the two. The pair were first linked in February when they were spotted hanging out at a Super Bowl party and they "hit it off," per E! News. Rodrigo and Bia subsequently began casually spending time together although neither one of them has confirmed that they are anything more than friends. That same month, Us Weekly confirmed that the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star split from Faze, 24, after less than one year together. Fans began speculating about a split in late 2021 when Rodrigo opened up about moving forward after breakups in an interview with British Vogue. Bia started as a party promoter and gained a reputation for throwing star-studded events around the city. Once he became a DJ, his parties attracted big names including Jack Harlow, Kendall Jenner and Doja Cat, and he used his influence to help connect up-and-coming artists with major players in the music industry. 2. He's Had a Passion For Music From a Young Age

Bia told Complex in a February profile that he was raised by a single mother who introduced him to a wide variety of music from a young age. "My mom’s the coolest," he said. "From an early age, she encouraged me to consume music, buy magazines, go skate. She was putting me on to all kinds of stuff, whether it’s the Red Hot Chili Peppers or Tupac or Eminem or the Rolling Stones."

He continued: “When I was like 8 or 9 years old, my first hustle was filling people’s iPods with music, and they paid me for it. ... I was always that kid. I’ve always been able to search and discover new stuff from all genres."

3. He's Close Friends With Drake

After meeting at L.A. hotspot Delilah, Drake and Bia became close friends, and the DJ has frequently appeared in the rapper's music videos and on social media. "I consider him a big brother," he told GQ in March 2020, adding that they bonded after a nine-hour conversation “about life, music, movies, and fashion.”

4. He Started His Own Record Label

Bia started Field Trip Records in 2018, after realizing his passion for finding and drawing attention to new artists of all genres and now works in partnership with major record labels like WarnerMusic and Interscope. "I think the fact that we’re just so in it, in real time, gives us an advantage,” he told Complex. “We’re not only reactive — we’re also a part of creating that moment. ... Being in the middle of it allows me to amplify what they want to do, and we can be a lot more active in real time than a major label can, which is why I think we’ve had success creating these partnerships."

Prior to his rumored romance with Rodrigo, Bia was most recently linked to Cline in the wake of her split from Outer Banks costar Chase Stokes.
