Duchess Kate Comforts Princess Charlotte at Trooping the Colour — and Prince George Gets Shushed by Cousin

Always making an entrance! Prince George and Princess Charlotte took part in Queen Elizabeth II’s 92nd birthday celebration at the Trooping the Colour parade, and, naturally, they stole the show. The royal family got together for the event on Saturday, June 9, and they all watched a Royal Air Force display from the Buckingham Palace balcony. The siblings were joined by their older cousin, Savannah Phillips, while their parents, Duchess Kate and Prince William, stood closely behind them. The trio were all smiles and clapping while watching the airplane show, but all eyes were on them to capture their adorable reactions. Prince George got in a bit of trouble for singing too loud while his little sister suffered a bit of a mishap. Not Having It

Savannah, who was standing between her younger cousins — Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3 — was not a fan of the young royal boy singing along to the national anthem.

Quiet, Please!

The three kids were enjoying the national anthem, while the adults stood quietly behind them. Savannah held her finger to her lips, telling her little cousin to quiet down. Savannah is the daughter of Peter and Autumn Phillips and is Queen Elizabeth's great-granddaughter.

Holding Him Back

At one point, Savannah covered Prince George’s mouth while he was happily belting out the song. Poor kid.

Prince William was spotted reacting to the moment and looked serious as he stared at the little ones.

Princess Charlotte's Fall

All the attention quickly shifted to Princess Charlotte, however. The young royal was so excited as she clapped during the airplane display, that she stumbled on the balcony.

Duchess Kate to the Rescue

Her mom was quick to react before she hit the ground. Duchess Kate then held Charlotte in her arms and comforted her as she cried in her arms.
