Quickest Celebrity Engagements Ever: Ariana Grande, Meghan King and More

No time to waste! Some Hollywood stars just can’t wait to walk down the aisle — including Kaley Cuoco, Ariana Grande and Meghan King. "From day one I just knew immediately, and it's been magic,” the Big Bang Theory alum told Entertainment Tonight in September 2013 of her whirlwind romance which resulted in an engagement to Ryan Sweeting after six months of dating. “We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life." Cuoco admitted that it "seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us." The Flight Attendant star and the tennis player married on New Year’s Eve in 2013 but went their separate ways less than two years later with Us confirming their breakup in September 2015. Grande, for her part, has had two relationships that resulted in quick engagements. Multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly in June 2018 that Pete Davidson proposed to the “Dangerous Woman” singer after dating for a few weeks. The duo never married, splitting in October 2018. The Voice coach previously defended both her whirlwind engagement to the comedian and her pal Justin Bieber’s quick proposal to Hailey Baldwin on social media. Grande clapped back at a troll in July 2018 who criticized her and Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, for working “harder” than the devil to get his two clients hitched. U deserve it.” Bieber, for his part, went on to marry Baldwin twice — at a New York City courthouse in September 2018 and one year later in South Carolina with friends and family by their side. The “7 Rings” singer moved on with Dalton Gomez, with a source confirming in March 2020 that they were dating after being linked one month prior. Us Weekly confirmed in October 2021 that Meghan King and Cuffe Owens had known each other less than a month before tying the knot in Pennsylvania that same month. The pair went public with their relationship in September 2021 and wed just weeks later.

“We just knew. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Owens,” the Real Housewives of Orange County alum captioned a photo from the special day via Instagram. The couple celebrated their nuptials in Pennsylvania surrounded by family and close friends, including Owens’ uncle President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden.

The pair haven’t revealed when they got engaged, but King told Brides in October 2021 that they met on a dating app and she met Owens’ family one week after they starting seeing each other.
