William and Kate’s two eldest children once again played a role in the festivities, this time for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's nuptials on May 19, 2018. Joining them were Harry’s goddaughters Florence van Cutsem and Zalie Warren; Meghan's two goddaughters Remi and Rylan Litt; Ivy, Brian and John Mulroney (the children of her best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney); and Harry’s godson Jasper Dyer.
Duchess Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, recruited her nephew and niece for her wedding to James Matthews in Berkshire, England, in May 2017. George looked adorable in a double-breasted Pepa & Co. shirt, while Charlotte wore a white dress by the same brand.
Though not a royal herself, Middleton famously stole the show as the maid of honor at Kate’s wedding to Prince William in London in April 2011. Her formfitting white Alexander McQueen dress was praised by people across the world.
The daughters of Prince Andrew and Duchess Sarah of York wore matching embroidered white gowns and floral headbands at their former nanny Alison Wardley’s wedding to Ben Dady in Manchester, England, in April 1993. Eugenie is now engaged to Jack Brooksbank, whom she is set to wed in October 2018.
Harry, then 5, looked charming in a large black hat and a frilly white outfit at his uncle Charles Spencer’s wedding to Victoria Lockwood in September 1989. The prince is now engaged to Meghan Markle, whom he will marry in May 2018.
Diana was a bridesmaid at her sister Lady Jane Spencer’s wedding to Robert Fellowes in London in April 1978. Three years later, the late princess walked down the aisle herself at her nuptials with Prince Charles.
Margaret was in the bridal party for her sister Queen Elizabeth II’s wedding to Prince Philip in London in November 1947.
