Sebastian Stan's Dating History: Leighton Meester, Jennifer Morrison and More

Stealing hearts! Sebastian Stan has been linked to plenty of famous women through the years — but he does his best to keep his love life on the down-low. Before he gained attention for his performance as Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Stan was best known for playing Carter Baizen on The CW's Gossip Girl. His recurring role on the teen drama was responsible for his introduction to former flame Leighton Meester, who he started dating in 2008. "I'm a really lucky guy," he gushed at the NYC premiere of Taking Woodstock in 2009, one year before the pair called it quits. "She's the most interesting, sophisticated, talented, and an extremely funny person that I know. She's really hilarious." At the time, the Pam & Tommy star asserted that he wasn't bothered by seeing his then-girlfriend get intimate with onscreen love interest Ed Westwick, who played the Chuck Bass to Meester's Blair Waldorf. "It's work and everyone shares the same mentality when it comes to that. But we all laugh about it," Stan said. "The good part is I get to go home with her." After pulling the plug on her romance with the Avengers: Endgame actor, Meester moved on with Adam Brody. The twosome tied the knot in 2014 and share two children. Stan, for his part, was later linked to actresses Dianna Agron and Jennifer Morrison. However, he wasn't always the confident heartthrob fans know and love. "I came here from Romania when I was 12 years old. I had an accent. High school was tough a little bit for a few years," he told Seventeen magazine in 2011. "I wanted to fit in. I wanted to be liked. I wanted to be good-looking. I wanted to be popular. I spent a lot of time thinking, 'What are these people going to think of me?' But I think part of developing a strong sense of self is that you have to kind start to trust in yourself." As his career continued to take off, the I, Tonya star tried to keep his private life out of the spotlight. In July 2014, Us Weekly confirmed that he sparked a romance with Revenge alum Margarita Levieva after years of friendship. The duo attended Taylor Schilling's 30th birthday party in Manhattan and "didn't leave each other's side" all night, according to a source. "They're both very art-minded and thoughtful people," a second insider explained at the time. Despite their similar interests, the duo's relationship didn't last long. Leighton Meester

The former couple met while working together on Gossip Girl in 2007 and sparked rumors of a romance the following year. Things appeared to get pretty serious between the twosome when Meester gushed over the "very special abstract [painting]" Stan had commissioned for her for Valentine's Day in 2009. However, the duo called it quits in 2010.

Dianna Agron

In 2011, an eyewitness told Us that Stan snuck backstage after a Glee concert to see the Shiva Baby actress — and "they were all over each other." After a brief split later that year, the pair broke up for good in 2012.

Jennifer Morrison

Stan and the Chicago native grew close after starring together on ABC's Once Upon a Time in 2012, but their flame quickly fizzled out. "They have gone their separate ways — no bad blood," a source told Us in November 2013. "They just grew apart."

Margarita Levieva

Us confirmed in July 2014 that the twosome, who both appeared in 2009's Spread, were "having fun together and seeing where it goes." Two years later, they seemingly called it quits.

Alejandra Onieva

The Logan Lucky star was linked to the Spanish actress in July 2020 when photos of them holding hands were published by the Daily Mail. Later that year, they were spotted soaking up the sun in Tulum, Mexico, and packing on the PDA in Spain.

Stan confirmed their relationship after a year of dating with a fun video wishing Onieva a happy birthday in June 2021. "Over a year ago, out of a lot of darkness...you became the light 🔥 I’m so grateful 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻 #2020 #loveinthetimeofcovid #quarantinenights" the Rutgers alum wrote via Instagram.

Onieva commented, "The love you give me is the most beautiful gift this life has given me, te quiero!"

Annabelle Wallis

The Winter Soldier actor was rumored to be dating Wallis in spring 2022. In May, the two attended Robert Pattinson's birthday party. In a since-deleted Instagram photo from photographer Myles Hendrik, the Tudors alum was seen nearly biting the Emmy nominee's bottom lip. Wallis and the Monday actor were continually spotted getting cozy throughout the summer while out and about in New York City, sometimes joined by Wallis' dog Zeus. They were spotted celebrating Stan's 40th birthday in August 2022 in Greece with friends.
