Clips from their Vegas nuptials were shared online by Diplo and took everyone by surprise — even Jonas' parents. The former Disney star later revealed that his mom and dad, Denise and Paul Kevin Jonas, learned about their son's legal ceremony secondhand. "[My parents] have an amazing restaurant in North Carolina and I think, like, a couple of their staff walked up and were, like, 'Congratulations! I saw.' And then they had to find out," he said, teasing that he was "doing a lot of apologizing" in the aftermath. In a separate post on her Instagram Story, the Claws star joked, "#PlotTwist." Niecy was previously married to Don Nash from 1994 to 2007 and to Jay Tucker from 2011 to 2019. In February 2020, the When They See Us star tearfully discussed the end of her second marriage, admitting that she and Tucker were "better friends than life partners." "The one that made me laugh the most was an ode to him being attractive. “I was going to Canada for Yellowjackets and I was on the phone with somebody and they said, ‘Oh, he won’t be allowed in,'" the actress explained. “I was like, ‘We have a child. What? I can’t leave for six months,’ so I was like, ‘We have to get married tomorrow.’”

She added that it was a small wedding with only two witnesses. “We got married on our front porch of our little rental house in Atlanta. Nice lady came and married us. We had two friends there," Lyskey revealed.

Us exclusively revealed in November 2018 that the Game of Thrones star and the Jonas Brothers member were planning to tie the knot in France in summer 2019. However, the duo decided to throw caution to the wind and get hitched in Las Vegas after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on May 1. The pair said, "I do," in front of an Elvis Impersonator, who later revealed that he was booked for the ceremony a week prior. Jonas and Turner's French extravaganza will likely still take place, but will serve as a celebration for the newlyweds.

Not only was the country singer's wedding a surprise — the fact that she's even been in a relationship was a complete shock. After declaring herself "happily single" in August 2018, Lambert unexpectedly revealed on February 16, 2019, that she said "I do" to a mystery man named Brendan Mcloughlin. "In honor of Valentine's Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "And we got hitched!"

The Mission: Impossible – Fallout actress revealed in January 2019 that she and partner Rory — whose last name she has never shared publicly — secretly married in a cottage over the holidays. Ferguson wore a “wedding skirt” in lieu of a traditional dress while guests sported “Wellington boots and big woolly socks and big ruggy jumpers” and celebrated with games. The couple share a daughter. The Greatest Showman star is also the mother of son Isaac with ex-boyfriend Ludwig Hallberg.

2018 was a busy one for Ballinger. "This year i got pregnant, engaged and married, all in the same year. Cyrus and Hemsworth sparked wedding speculation on Christmas Eve in 2018 after photos of the twosome cutting a cake in front of “Mr. and Mrs." balloons surfaced. Two days later, the Disney alum confirmed that they’d tied the knot by sharing multiple black-and-white pictures of the couple dressed up in formal attire. Cyrus captioned one of the sweet snaps, “10 years later…” (Cyrus and Hemsworth dated on and off for nearly a decade after meeting on the set of The Last Song in 2009.)

The actress quietly married the entrepreneur at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California, on August 28. She opened up about the "stunning private community" and shared wedding photos with Vogue. "It was timeless. There is just no other way to describe it. I was overwhelmed with such gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting. It was truly a dream come true," she gushed. Her maid of honor was best friend Mariska Hargitay.

Williams tied the knot with the musician in a secret ceremony in the Adirondacks, the actress revealed in a Vanity Fair cover story published in July 2018. Only a small group of their friends and their two daughters were present for the exchange of vows. The Manchester by the Sea star said of falling for Elverum a decade after the death of partner Heath Ledger: “I never gave up on love.”
