Taylor Swift

The "Shake It Off" singer was born to Scott Kingsley Swift, a Merrill Lynch financial adviser, and Andrea Swift, a mutual fund marketing executive. Taylor grew up on an 11-acre Christmas tree farm in Cumru Township, Pennsylvania, and attended a private elementary school. Before Taylor made it big, Scott reportedly invested money to start his daughter's current record label, Big Machine Records.

Paris Hilton

The socialite's paternal great-grandfather, Conrad Hilton, founded Hilton Hotels. Paris' father, Rick Hilton, is the chairman and cofounder of real estate firm Hilton & Hyland. Her mother, Kathy Hilton, once worked as an actress, appearing in several TV shows including Bewitched and Happy Days. Although Paris has been called a celebutante, she has built an empire of her own over the years with countless endorsements, TV shows and even a music career.

Miley Cyrus

A few months before the "Wrecking Ball" singer was born in 1992, her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, released his No. 1 hit single "Achy Breaky Heart," which quickly became a worldwide phenomenon. ("Achy Breaky Heart" was also the first single to ever be certified triple platinum in Australia!)

Robin Thicke

The "Blurred Lines" singer is the son of Alan Thicke, the beloved actor who portrayed Jason Seaver on Growing Pains in the late '80s and early '90s. Robin's mother, Gloria Loring, was also a TV star, playing Liz Chandler on Days of Our Lives for five years.

The "Into You" singer's father, Edward Butera, is the CEO of Ibi Designs Inc., a successful graphic design company based out of Ariana's affluent hometown, Boca Raton, Florida. Butera's business has worked with several prominent clients, including Eddie Murphy and FAO Schwarz.

The CNN journalist was born to writer Wyatt Emory Cooper and artist/fashion designer Gloria Vanderbilt. Gloria's father, Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt, was the great-grandson of Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt, who created a railroad empire and was one of the first millionaires in America.
