After the family filed for an extension for their motions of judgement of acquittal and for a new trial, they have until July 21 to get the paperwork in. According to legal docs obtained by Us in June 2022, Todd and Julie requested to delay the process because they needed more time to prepare their argument with “necessary” transcripts from their court hearings.
