Moving on? While ringing in the new year in Miami, Kanye West was spotted enjoying a dinner date with Julia Fox amid his divorce from Kim Kardashian. After West, 44, and Fox, 31, were photographed getting close during a night out at Carbone on Saturday, January 1, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the twosome were "having fun" during the "casual" outing. The insider revealed that West "wanted to get to know her better" after they connected via their mutual friends. A second source shared with Us that West and Fox are "not serious" as the "Off the Grid" performer is "living his best life" following his split from Kardashian, 41. The Chicago native was recently spotted with Instagram model Yasmine Lopez in Houston late last month. West was also linked to model Vinetria months after the reality star filed for divorce from the Yeezy designer. West and Kardashian, who share North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, originally tied the knot in 2014 before calling it quits after six years of marriage. "I just feel like I've worked so hard in life to achieve everything that I've wanted to, and I've lived up to my expectations and achieved 10 times more than I even thought was humanly possible, but I don't have a life to share that with." West, for his part, made headlines when he claimed that he never received any divorce papers from his estranged wife. “SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off, and I never have seen the papers. We’re not even divorced,” he said during an appearance on Revolt’s “Drink Champs” podcast in November 2021, referring to the Skims founder's Saturday Night Live monologue. “So how we — because [it’s] no joke to me, my kids want their parents to stay together. I want their parents — I want us to be together.” Kardashian, who publicly moved on with Pete Davidson after they connected during her October 2021 SNL hosting gig, later filed paperwork requesting to be declared legally single amid her divorce. 1. She Was Raised in New York City

The model was originally born in Italy before making the move to New York alongside one of her brothers and her father. During an interview with High Snob Society, Fox shared how her childhood was shaped by her father offering her freedom to explore on her own.

"I grew up Uptown, mostly," she shared in 2019. "We moved around a lot. It was kind of unstable. We were homeless at one point. I actually have lived in almost every single neighborhood — Harlem, Chelsea, everywhere. I moved downtown when I was 17 and I haven't left."

2. She Made Her Acting Debut in 'Uncut Gems'

Fox took on the role of Julia De Fiore alongside Adam Sandler in the 2019 Netflix hit Uncut Gems. This was the first acting job for the filmmaker, who later revealed to Paper Magazine that the role was originally written for her.

"I'm the only cast member that was never interchanged. Everyone else was swapped out, but I'm the only one that stayed the same," she shared in 2019. "I did have to fight for it, though. Sure it was written with me in mind, but I definitely had to prove to the big studios and Scott Rudin that I could do this."

At the time, Fox detailed the other interests that she has explored throughout the years, referring to herself as a "renaissance woman" when it comes to picking up new skills.

"I feel like when you're a creative, you can express that through so many mediums. Acting just happens to be what it is right now, but it's been fashion, it's been art, it's been photography, it's been writing, it's been directing," she added. "If you have it in you, it's gonna come out with whatever someone puts in front of you."

3. She Is a Proud Mom

Fox announced in February 2021 that she had secretly welcomed son Valentino one month prior with ex-husband Peter Artemiev. The new mom reflected on the "best day" of her life alongside pics from her maternity shoot. 

"These photos were taken by my sis @richieshazam right after my gyno told me I would need to go have my baby early cuz of some blood pressure issues. I ran home in a panic cuz I still hadn’t taken any pics but my girls came thru for me," she wrote via Instagram at the time. "Right after the shoot I went to the hospital and had my precious baby boy."

4. She Made Headlines for Another Relationship

The same month that Fox was seen spending time with West, the No Sudden Move star called out her ex Artemiev, who filed for divorce in February 2020. According to court records obtained by Us, the proceedings were finalized in July of that year. 

“This man left me with a 5 month old and a dog and a home and ALL THE BILLS. It’s wrong!!! It’s not fair,” Fox alleged via her Instagram Stories in December 2021, adding, “He 1000 percent intentionally got me pregnant, It’s a blessing. I’m happy about it. I would not change it."

Artemiev, for his part, denied all the allegations to Page Six, saying, “I was saddened to learn of the utterly false statements made on social media by Julia Fox, my coparent, who is clearly struggling. Out of respect for her privacy and to protect our child, I will not comment further.”

5. She Loves to Travel the World

The Gotham Awards nominee previously used her social media to offer her followers a glimpse at her love for travel.

"Driving thru Nebraska was probably one of the most magical drives I ever took. I was alone with no GPS. My phone didn’t have service through 3 states. I was doing directions with the compass app. Got lost 10+ times. But everywhere I seemed to end up was exactly where I needed to be. Nebraska felt like an abandoned ghost state, nothing really seemed to make sense. It was eerie and surreal. I was nervous and excited all at the same time," she detailed in an Instagram post in March 2019. "I still don’t know what road I took but I barely saw any cars at all and not one single person."

Fox added: "I recommend that everyone at some point in their life travel across country alone. You can’t even imagine what you’ll learn about yourself.... (and most importantly: take the back roads!!)."
