Doing things her way! Zendaya has been romantically linked to many high-profile celebrities, including Tom Holland and Jacob Elordi — but she’s not one to kiss and tell. The Emmy winner has a history of keeping all of her relationships as private as possible, including her four-year romance with a mystery man that ended in 2016. During an interview with Vogue in June 2017, Zendaya revealed that her ex was her “first love” when reflecting on the heartbreak. “It wasn’t a good ending,” she said at the time, noting that her former flame bought her a dog named Noon shortly before they called it quits. “You know you’re OK in a breakup when your first thought is not, ‘What did I do wrong?’ It’s, ‘That was the dumbest decision of your life, and you’re going to regret it forever.’” The Malcolm & Marie star addressed the breakup on her website the same year, detailing her step by step process for moving forward. “I got rid of old text messages, pictures and their clothing I still had. You don’t hang on to old Band-Aids. Throw that in the trash! I tried my best to cut off communication. It was the best medicine for me,” she wrote. “I started forcing myself to have a lot more fun. It’s also important to have somebody who makes you laugh. If someone can’t make me laugh, then that’s wack. Zendaya addressed romance rumors about her and Jackson after she portrayed his love interest in the 2013 music video for “Like We Grown.” When attending the musician’s birthday party in 2014, she told HipHollywood, “There’s going to be those [rumors] but he’s my best friend in the whole world. I love him to death. That's all it is.”

The Grown-ish actor also commented on the dating speculation, saying, "We be laughing every time we hear it. I can understand why people think that because we are really close. But, no she's just my friend." However, three years later, Zendaya told Vogue about a secret relationship she had from 2012 to 2016, calling the man her “first love.” She didn’t give names, leading some fans to think she was talking about Jackson.

Odell Beckham Jr.

The former Disney Channel star was briefly linked to the NFL player in 2016 after they were spotted leaving a party together. Zendaya’s dad, Kazembe Coleman, shut down the romance rumors, telling TMZ at the time, “There’s no relationship. We’re just friends. When you see my daughter out on a date without me, it’s a relationship.” Coleman joked that his daughter’s hangout with the football star was “like an audition” or an “interview” since he was along for the ride.

Tom Holland

The actors met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and sparked relationship speculation the following year after spending so much time together for work. “We are friends,” Zendaya told Variety in 2017, clapping back at romance rumors. “He’s a great dude. He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how[ever] many months, we’ve had to do press tours together. There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.”

Two years later, the British actor squashed rumors of a rekindled romance with Zendaya, telling Elle that he was not romantically involved with anyone at the time. He did, however, say that he is a “relationship person.”

The Spider-Man costars reignited relationship speculation in July 2021 when they were spotted sharing a steamy kiss in Holland’s car in Los Angeles. Neither star commented on the make out session at the time.

Jacob Elordi

The Euphoria costars were first romantically linked in August 2019 after playing high school rivals on the HBO series, which filmed in 2018. The duo were spotted vacationing in Athens, Greece, with an eyewitness telling Us, “They looked like they were getting a little cozy.” Three months later, the duo spent Thanksgiving together with Elordi’s family in Australia.

The Kissing Booth star played coy about their relationship in December 2019, telling GQ Australia that Zendaya was “like my sister.” Us confirmed two months later that the pair were officially dating after Elordi was seen kissing Zendaya on the forehead in New York City. They were last spotted together in March 2020.
