Amal Alamuddin Looks Classy Even On a Coffee Run: See Her Pink Tweed Suit

Amal Alamuddin grabs coffee around Columbia University on April 15.
Amal Alamuddin looked classy in a pink tweed suit while grabbing coffee in between teaching classes at Columbia Law School in New York City.

Coffee break, but please, no stains on the suit!

Even before starting her teaching gig at Columbia Law School, we had an inkling that Amal Alamuddin would be bringing some high-fashion flare to the student union.

On Wednesday, April 15, the human rights lawyer, 37, once again exhibited her style prowess, wearing a pink tweed Oscar de la Renta dress with a matching jacket to lunch at Camille's restaurant near the campus. Never one to pinch when it comes to her wardrobe, Alamuddin's dress alone cost $1,990. George Clooney's wife completed the look with cream heels, a leather Ballin bag named after her, and Heidi London sunglasses.

Her sophisticated "Ladies Who Lunch" inspired getup was just another example of her versatile style. Earlier this week, she visited her husband on the set of his movie, Money Monster, wearing an edgy biker jacket and distressed denim.

The couple have been inseparable since tying the knot in September 2014. At this year's Golden Globes, where Clooney accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award, he gushed about his wife. "It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love, even better if you've been waiting your whole life," he said. "And when your whole life is 53 years — Tina [Fey] and Amy [Poehler] start the jokes — Amal, whatever alchemy that brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband."
