One hot mama! Just two months after welcoming her second child, Violet, Emily Blunt made her first post-baby red carpet appearance — and positively stunned — at a screening of The Hollars in NYC on Thursday, August 18.
The Girl on the Train actress, 33, who shares both Violet, born in June, and 2-year-old daughter Hazel with husband John Krasinski, showcased her already slim post-baby body in a white David Koma sheath dress. The short-sleeved number featured a body-conscious fit plus a ruffled hemline and peekaboo cutouts. She paired the style with metallic Tory Burch ankle-strap sandals.

Meanwhile, her Emmy-nominated love, 36, who directed the film, looked especially dapper in a black suit teamed with a white button-up, a skinny tie and lace-up shoes.
As on onlooker tells Us Weekly, the couple arrived with Krasinski’s parents, who were there to cheer on their son. The Office alum not only directed the movie but starred in it alongside Anna Kendrick, Margo Martindale, Richard Jenkins and Charlie Day.
Discussing his role as a father-to-be in the film, the father of two tells Us Weekly, “My character was a lot more scared than I was! I’m lucky to come from an amazing family and have a father that was my hero my whole life. I’ve also wanted to be a dad, so I wasn’t scared to be [one].”
Still, he said, his role as a real-life father offered plenty of inspiration. “My daughter was only 4 months old when we shot this, [but] if we had shot this five months before, that would have been a different story,” the 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi actor says. “I connected to the idea that having a baby changes your whole life, but what I really used was [the fact that] having a baby is this huge existential magnet that [pulls you] closer to your parents. You understand your peers better, I understand my brothers better.”

But one of the best parts about making the film? That he, Blunt and their family have relocated to NYC. “I absolutely love it!” he says. “I’m from the East Coast, and I always knew that I’d come back here at some point. Emily’s from London, so we’re closer to her family, too, and this movie had a lot to do with that. We both realized even more so that we needed to be close to family and it’s been amazing.”
