Who’s that girl? Emily Ratajkowski stunned wearing faux bangs in a Wednesday, July 20, Instagram. The Gone Girl star, 25, gave a sneak peek of her hair transformation to her 7.1 million followers.
“Bangs for a day💥 thanks @harryjoshhair @hungvanngo,” she wrote, crediting hairstylist Harry Josh and makeup artist Hung Vanngo for their work. Vanngo, who works with Katy Perry and Selena Gomez, Instagrammed the same picture, revealing that he was going for a “#NoMakeupMakeup” aesthetic. Josh called the look “#frenchgirl #gamine” in his respective post.
The We Are Your Friends actress, who usually wears her long brunette locks loose, swept her hair back so that her brow-skimming bangs could really stand out. She also wore a black and gold lariat choker and a silky white top.
Ratajkowski’s demure look was a far cry from another Instagram that she posted earlier that day, sharing the news of an exciting new gig with Australian swimwear brand Amore + Sorvete. “So happy to announce my campaign with @amoreandsorvete 🙌🏽,” she captioned, posing in the brand’s green shirred Wind Star string bikini top ($77, amoreandsorvete.com) and the strappy Wind Star bottoms ($74, amoreandsorvete.com) from their 2016/2017 collection that launches in September.
“I’ve always had a love of fashion and was inspired to work with a strong female entrepreneur like Bridgette [Gale, the brand’s CEO and creative director]. The Amore + Sorvete collection is vibrant and bold and makes you feel beautiful,” Ratajkowski said in a release. “I am honored to be the face of this exciting new campaign.”
