Never a dull moment in the Big Apple! The Met Gala brought out some of the hottest Hollywood couples on Monday, May 4, and it also showed off their best China: Through the Looking Glass-themed outfits. Us Weekly had a front-row seat to the biggest fashion event of the season, which was attended by model Hannah Davis, Kate Hudson, Kim Kardashian, Queen Bey, Jennifer Lopez, Karolína Kurková, and many, many more.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl Davis was one of the first to step out with some eye candy on her arm. The bombshell attended the star-studded evening with her longtime BF Derek Jeter, but joked that it wasn’t a “typical” date night for them.
“I think these types of events are not normal,” she teased to Us’ Travis Cronin on the red carpet. What’s also not normal? That figure! The brunette stunner showed off her curves in a strawberry J. Mendel dress and accessorized with tassel earrings.
Red wasn’t the only trend with attendees. Like Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, and Kate Beckinsale, Hudson shimmered in a gold ensemble, particularly a tulle Michael Kors dress. The Rock the Kasbah actress also wore a colorful flower headpiece.
“She’s a California girl,” Kors told Us, next to a giggling Hudson. “A golden girl in a golden dress.”
