All aboard! Katie Holmes shared an Instagram picture on Oct. 7 that showed her boarding a New Jersey Transit train at New York City's Penn Station while dressed to the nines in a ball gown.
In the photo, The Giver actress, 36, bunches up the full skirt of her strapless red frock as she steps onto the awaiting train, giving a glimpse of her matching crimson stilettos. "Heels and a train… nothing better #newyork #pennstation," she wrote.
Holmes is no stranger to the city's public transit, living in Manhattan with her daughter, Suri Cruise, 9, and filming her latest movie, All We Had — which is also her directorial debut — in Brooklyn. Her love for NYC is plastered all over her Instagram — the Dawson's Creek alum even has the city's area code 212 in her handle — and she regularly shares photos of the skyline. On Sept. 16, she posted a pic of the lit-up buildings after the sun had set, writing, "Manhattan," with a heart emoji.
