Tres belle, Natalie Portman! The Black Swan actress attended the swanky New York City Ballet Fall Gala on Thursday, Sept. 19, and absolutely stunned on the red carpet. No small feat, considering the other high-caliber stylish stars she mingled with that night — fashion veterans Sarah Jessica Parker and Drew Barrymore!

The petite actress chose a gorgeous turquoise, yellow, and black textured gown from Christian Dior’s Fall 2013 Couture collection. (Her husband, Benjamin Millipied, a French dancer-choreographer and the new Director of the Paris Opera Ballet, was equally glamorous in a tux.) Drop earrings and a statement watch by Richard Mille completed her ensemble. Her long hair was worn down and tucked behind her ears; her smoky eyes and neutral makeup were flawless.

Barrymore also sported a flattering blown-out hairstyle, but her outfit was a bit more subdued. The Grey Gardens actress opted to don a slimming all-black Chanel dress with sheer lace sleeves. On her face was makeup from her Flower beauty line.

The Sex and the City star, meanwhile, wore a pale pink strapless gown by not one, but two designers! The bustier top was designed by Prabal Gurung and the voluminious skirt by Olivier Theyskins. On her feet? Manolo Blahniks, naturally. Parker, who hosted the gala event, styled her hair into a sleek, polished pony for the evening’s festivities. She glitzed up the ensemble with jewelry by Fred Leighton and Fenton.

Parker spoke to Us Weekly at the event about her fashion-loving 4-year-old twin daughters, Tabitha and Loretta, who just started ballet classes. They watched her get gussied up for the night, “but they had on nine dresses tonight between the two of them before I left,” she noted. “It eclipsed anything I did.”
