Maternity mini! Pregnant Anne Hathaway looked radiant in a black minidress for her first red carpet appearance since sources confirmed to Us Weekly she was expecting her first child in November.
Hathaway, 33, glowed in a patterned black and white appliqué Marc by Marc Jacobs sheath that showed off her long legs, a Nathalie Trad clutch and John Hardy jewelry at the L.A. Art Show’s 2016 opening night party, which benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, on Wednesday, January 27. She added even more length to her legs with embellished platform heels by Miu Miu.
“She looked very happy and propped her hands on her hips but didn’t grab her belly or draw attention to it,” an onlooker tells Us Weekly.
In fact, her focus was 100 percent on the work that St. Jude has done. “The first time I went to St. Jude Children’s Hospital was 12 years ago,” she tells Us Weekly. “It was a place that I had heard about but after I saw it firsthand, I knew that my life had changed and that I would do anything to help those kids and their families.”
At the party, Hathaway was all smiles, especially around her husband of four years, Adam Shulman. “They were inseparable from the time they hit the carpet to the end of the night,” the onlooker says. “They were very affectionate.”
