Threads fit for a prince and princess!
Kensington Palace released four photos of Prince George cradling his baby sister, Princess Charlotte, on Saturday, June 6, and each one is more awww-inducing than the last. And that’s in no small part thanks to the little royals’ classic ensembles!
Dressed up by his mama, Kate Middleton, who was also the photographer for these portraits, Prince George, 23 months, modeled a white Rachel Riley button-down shirt piped in blue, Rachel Riley shorts, Amaia Kids knee-high socks, and buckled shoes.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte—who was welcomed into the world on May 2—sat bundled up in a white sweater and matching pants, both by Spanish brand Irulea. The pieces were from the same set that Charlotte wore home from the hospital on the day she was born, which was gifted to her by George’s Spanish nanny, Maria Borrallo. (The sweet set, which also includes a bonnet, costs 223 euros.)
Sharing details on the intimate photos, a palace source tells Us Weekly, “The Duchess is a keen photographer and wanted to take her own photos of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The results were beautiful, and she was very happy to be able to share them with the public, who have been so generous with their congratulations over the past month.”
