On April 11, Puma announced that Rihanna‘s newest shoe from the Spring/Summer 2016 Fenty Puma by Rihanna collection will be released on Friday, April 22.
The Fur Slide, the third from her collection, is a remake of the “timeless PUMA Leadcat performance silhouette worn by football players off the pitch,” and “great to rock with socks or without,” a Puma press release reads, “for the poolside or hanging around the city.” The slide-on shoe, which is made of cruelty-free fur, has a satin foam backing. The brand’s signature cat is emblazoned on the shoe’s top, and FENTY PUMA by Rihanna is stamped on the heel and footbed. The $80 slide will come in white, black and shell.
The “Work” singer, 28, gave her Navy a sneak-peek of the comfy kicks last September, rocking them on her Fader 100 cover … and later, on a date night with ex-flame Travis Scott. She paired them with a Puma Zip-Up Track Jacket ($36, us.puma.com) … and nothing else.
The Fur Slide will be up for grabs at Puma stores, Puma.com and global retailers.
