Bringing in the sunshine! Victoria Beckham, who usually sticks to black pantsuits or bodycon dresses, took a walk on the yellow side on Thursday, June 23, in NYC.
The Spice Girls alum, 42, lit up the streets of Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood in a canary yellow outfit. The bright ensemble included a three-quarter-sleeve duster coat in the color and a matching midi-length frock. She completed the head-turning getup with tortoiseshell shades and nude heels.
And it appears she wasn’t done with the vibrant hue. The very next day, Beckham, who married David Beckham in 1999, rocked a similar color trench-vest hybrid over a tailored denim jumpsuit while strolling in the Big Apple. The mom of Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, 4, accessorized her Friday ensemble with navy sandals, a matching leather handbag and those same oversized sunglasses (her signature).
The fashion designer seems to be in a sartorial summer mood, breaking out of her all-black uniform and opting for vibrant colors and bright combinations. Just two days earlier, on Wednesday, June 22, for instance, she donned a cherry red sweater with sky blue trousers with nude heels and black shades.
Despite a vow to ditch high heels in February, Beckham wore the footwear all week long. “I just can’t do heels anymore. At least not when I’m working,” she told The Telegraph. “I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable.”
