The fashion designer, 42, didn’t say that she’d give them up for good — just that she wouldn’t wear her heels in a professional setting. “Clothes have to be simple and comfortable,” she said.
And at first, the Victoria Beckham designer stayed true to her word. She Instagrammed a pair of luxe Stubbs and Wootton slippers before New York Fashion Week, captioning that she’d be “#livinginthesetillshowday” … and wore a pair of Stan Smiths to take her bow on the runway later that week.
But the mom to Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, 4, teetered in her signature shoes during a visit to Hong Kong four weeks ago, as well as her trip to Los Angeles to promote her line. And six days ago, her eldest son, Brooklyn, Instagrammed an impressive photo of his mum driving husband David Beckham in a golf cart — with her heels on.
