The segment to kill all segments! Adele‘s live version of her hit song “Hello” with Jimmy Fallon, the Roots and a whole host of classroom instruments just took The Tonight Show‘s amusing musical bits to a whole new level!

Appearing on the late-night show on Tuesday, Nov. 24, for the second night running (last night was Box of Lies and a performance of “Water Under the Bridge”), the British singer sang effortlessly, and beautifully, as her show host collaborator nodded his head in time with the music and banged gently on a woodblock.

As Adele’s tuneful voice rang out, the punctuation of a banana shaker and a multicolored xylophone added to the musical perfection.

Even the kazoo’s nasal contributions melted into the fabulous melody as the 27-year-old hit the top notes with ease.
