This is not a drill! Adele pretty much broke the Internet on Sunday, Oct. 18, when out of nowhere she teased a new song during an X Factor UK commercial break.
According to Twitter, it all happened in between your everyday commercials — Dominos and Tic Tac — when the screen mysteriously went black before Adele’s Grammy-winning voice could be heard.

“Hello / it’s me,” words flashed on the screen along with Adele’s voice. “I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet / to go over everything / They say that time's supposed to heal you / But I ain't done much healing,” the lyrics continued to read.
The screen then went black again and normal programming resumed.
"Wow Adele is back…with all my feels,” one viewer tweeted, while another perfectly exclaimed: “OH MY GOD ADELE’S NEW SONG.”
The songstress has kept mum about her upcoming third album. According to Billboard, the “Rumour Has It” singer’s album is titled 25 and is due out in November.
As previously reported by Billboard, the upcoming album features collaborations with Max Martin, Danger Mouse, Canadian singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr, and Ryan Tedder.
Adele’s last album, 21, dropped in 2011.
