Just because she's on a hit NBC comedy, doesn't mean Amy Poehler spends her free time catching up on the competition.
"I barely watch any comedies, that's not my idea of fun," the Parks & Recreation actress tells Pop Eater. " I'm not joking. It's not a vacation to watch comedy on TV. After a really long day of super comedy time with my friends, I just want to watch a show about Hoarders or something."
Another area where comedy is off-limits? Couple time with hubby, Running Wilde funnyman Will Arnett, 40.
"We watch The Wire and very serious medical dramas and listen to NPR," says Poehler, 39. "What's fun about being with a funny partner is you do have to have a sense of humor when you have young kids." No kidding!
Keeping up with sons Archie, 2, and Abel, 6 months, (both still in diapers) makes for a hectic home life. "There's a certain chaos that is kind of fun," says the SNL alum. "Like when you already have one kid in diapers and all that stuff, you might as well just keep it going."
She adds: "It's total madness. You really, really learn the lesson of just living in the moment because you just can't plan anything. Kids just really teach you to just enjoy this now because five minutes from now, you could be losing it. "
