Not even Anne Hathaway can resist the pull of the Bey Hive. As revealed in the Dec. 23 issue of Us Weekly, the Oscar-winning Les Miserables actress got a little starstruck when she ran into Beyonce recently at L.A. hotspot Cafe Gratitude.
“She said to Beyonce, ‘I love your music,'” an observer tells Us of the interaction between Hathaway, 31, and the “Love on Top” singer, 32, who surprised fans on Friday, Dec. 13, with the release of her new self-titled “visual album.”
The admiration, it turns out, was mutual. “Beyonce told Anne, ‘And your movies make me cry!'” the witness says.
Bey visited the meat- and dairy-free eatery with husband Jay Z on Dec. 4, the rapper’s 44th birthday. As previously reported, the couple recently started a 22-day vegan challenge.
