Her methods for finding romance are going to the dogs? Bachelor in Paradise's unlucky-in-love Ashley Iaconetti has an unlikely plan for getting over Jared Haibon in a sneak peek at the Monday, August 29, episode.
The ABC dating series' preview clip shows Iaconetti becoming emotional while remembering how much she loved her pooch, Lucy. The former nanny, 28, has already been distraught throughout this season because of Haibon's burgeoning romance with Caila Quinn.
"My dog died, and she's like my best friend," the reality-TV star says. "But I know she went to heaven because all dogs do, and even though Lucy's ashes are in a jar in my house, I know that the spirit of my dog, Lucy, is going to help me on this journey."
"Lucy, please let some guy that I actually will have some sort of instant chemistry and connection with walk in that door because I am really scared that I am going to completely lose my mind," she adds.
Soon thereafter, the Bachelor season 19 alum's fortunes appear to improve as The Bachelorette season 12's Wells Adams arrives on the beach, and Iaconetti's smile could not possibly be wider. Nicely done, Lucy.
Iaconetti also appears in a previously released preview clip for the Friday, August 26, episode of Million Dollar Matchmaker. The promo, which was exclusive to Us, shows Patti Stanger saying that the Paradise mainstay is "full of s–t" for refusing to let go of her feelings for Haibon.
