The mother of all dilemmas! The Bachelor season 20 star Ben Higgins may not know whether he prefers Lauren B. or JoJo, but his mom, Diane, has a clear favorite.
In a preview clip from the venerable ABC dating series’ Monday, March 14, finale, the hunky software salesman, 26, heads home to Warsaw, Indiana, to visit his parents, where Mom lets him know her choice in no uncertain terms.
“JoJo is way more my style, just because you refer to her as ‘the first person who will reassure me, tell me it’s going to be OK,'” Diane explains. “And that for me was really all I needed to hear.”
Ben, who notoriously informed both women that he loves them in the February 29 episode, tells her that he still can’t decide who to pick: “I couldn’t feel luckier, but I also couldn’t be more confused. I just don’t know.”
Diane then tearfully says to the camera, “It has nothing to do with anything personal towards either girl, but if I was to make that decision for Ben today, if it depended on me, I would pick JoJo.”
