Superhot superheroes! The full-length trailer for DC and Warner Bros’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiered on Wednesday, Dec. 2, during Jimmy Kimmel Live! — and Ben Affleck looks really good!
The much anticipated movie, which will be released in March 2016, is action-packed and full of hunks, as Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill‘s Superman come head-to-head in a series of high-energy, seriously intense big-screen moments.
The first clip we see is Clark Kent (in his capacity as a reporter) and Bruce Wayne being introduced at a Gotham City red carpet event.
“What is your position on the bat vigilante in Gotham?” Kent asks, to which handsome Wayne gives the smallest glimmer of a knowing smile.
The action then picks up and viewers are treated to a first glimpse of Doomsday, the previously unseen baddie with terrifying laser eyes, who kills Superman in the comics.
Another never-before-seen character to emerge from the trailer is Wonder Woman (aka Gal Gadot) who arrives from nowhere, taking the superheroes by surprise.
“Is she with you?” Superman asks Batman. “I thought she was with you,” he replies in an insanely deep and menacing voice!
