Down with homemade waffles? Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have some disagreements over their wedding registry in the Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? Tuesday, November 1, episode, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek.
On this week’s episode, Lauren’s sister, Mollie shows up to suggest possible wedding registry items with the happy couple, but the process quickly proves difficult to get through.
“I get that Ben is impatient with this process, but planning a wedding is kind of a girl thing,” Lauren tells the camera, which then cuts to a bored-looking Ben.
He speaks up after Lauren gives a dreamy, “Yes!” to Mollie’s suggestion of an ice cream maker and asks, “How many times are you actually gonna make ice cream?”
Lauren claims that she will make ice cream at least once a week, and instead of being a normal person and getting that in writing, the former Bachelor continues to give his wife-to-be a hard time before giving in and telling the ladies to “keep going.”
Unfortunately, Mollie’s next suggestion of a waffle maker has a similar outcome: Lauren loves it, while Ben questions how much she actually loves waffles. “It’s probably my favorite breakfast,” Lauren insists.
Mollie makes the mistake of saying how great a waffle maker would be for when they have babies, and Ben loses his mind. “We’re not even married yet!” Seeking a quick recovery, Mollie moves on to the suggestion of a cake stand, to which Ben gives another snarky reply.
Lauren’s had enough of Ben’s attitude by this point and tells him to just let Mollie do her job. To ease Ben’s mind, Mollie explains that wedding registries are full of stuff you wouldn’t get yourself.
“Because you typically would never get it!” Ben, the apparent minimalist, lashes back.
Luckily, Lauren saves face and seems moderately amused by her fiancé’s tantrum. She tells Mollie she’s “on the right track,” presumably taking full control of the registry moving forward.
