Diva domination! Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea crushed it at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, May 17. The singers took to the stage to perform Spears’ new smash “Pretty Girls” — and of course, got dolled up ’80s style.
Spears, in particular, wore a revealing sheer black bodysuit with diamond cutouts that strategically covered her body. Azalea, 24, rocked out in a metallic short dress. The gals stuck together for most of the set, and were joined by several backup dancers. (Spears, 33, walked the BBMAs red carpet with her boyfriend Charlie Ebersol.)
Earlier this month, Spears opened up about her new friendship with the Australian rapper. “She invited me to her house, and I met her dog and we had salads. She’s a very sweet girl. We hit it off. It was so much fun working with her,” she told NYC’s Z100 radio station.
“I was thinking about my next single for my next album and what I was gonna do, and I wanted to do a girl anthem. Something that was very girl empowering and that was kind of funny,” she added. “I thought a whole take on Valley girls and just making fun of that would be fun for us to do. She was really down for it.”
