If you watch AMC's hit cult series The Walking Dead you may already know Chris Hardwick from his after hours talk show where fans like Dave Navarro and Aisha Tyler have dropped by to discuss their favorite zombie story lines. Currently he is on the set in Georgia to film location shots for the show -– aptly called The Talking Dead –- and spending most of his time dodging spoilers.
"Every time I'm about to cross a corner I ask one of the producers if it's okay," Hardwick admits to Us Weekly. "I'm worried I'm going to stumble upon a dead main character covered in blood."
Hardwick is also a common staple of Chelsea Handler's riotous comic panel on Chelsea Lately, where participants get push the censor boundaries while analyzing pop culture. "It's probably one of the last real forums for comics on television." What's the secret to a lasting relationship with Chelsea? "Never get on her bad side. That's my trick."
If that doesn't sound cool enough for you did we mention he's working on a new web series — releasing end of November — with Neil Patrick Harris and puppets! "Basically Neil has always been a fan of Jim Henson, so it was all about finding a way to make that work. We came up with the idea that whenever he goes to sleep he dreams in a puppet world and it turns into this amazing fantasy variety show."
This Saturday, Nov. 10, you can catch Chris during his first hour-long special, Mandroid, on Comedy Central at 11 p.m. EST.
