Pratt's going prehistoric … again! If you were one of the millions of viewers who went to see Jurassic World in theaters, you were not alone this weekend. The film, which was the first in the Jurassic series since 2001, had the second biggest domestic opening weekend of all time at the box office and the biggest worldwide debut ever.

So naturally, the studio is already anticipating a sequel to the blockbuster. And fans can rest easy because star Chris Pratt will be back for more raptor action when the dinosaurs hit the big screen once more.

Pratt, the new face of action movies including Zero Dark Thirty, Guardians of the Galaxy, and potentially a new Indiana Jones reboot, has confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that he is officially signed on to a Jurassic World sequel.

"I am," he told the mag, joking, "They have me for I think 38 movies or something."

Pratt starred alongside Bryce Dallas Howard in the flick, which picks up more than 20 years after John Hammond's original vision for Jurassic Park went up in flames. A corporation has managed to build a working, functional Jurassic World where viewers come to pet the animals and watch Seaworld-like performances. Spoiler Alert: Things don't go well.

Thus far, Jurassic World has raked in $511.8 million at the global box office, setting an opening weekend record.
