They earned it! Since the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced on Thursday, July 17, stars are sharing their reactions to the exciting news that they've been nominated.

Here's what some of the biggest Emmy-nominated stars — 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin, Scandal's Kerry Washington, Behind the Candelabra's Michael Douglas and others — are saying!

Alec Baldwin — Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, 30 Rock

"It's days like this that make me miss 30 Rock," Baldwin told Us Weekly. "Many thanks to everyone that nominated me."

Kerry Washington — Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Scandal

"Just landed. WOW!" she tweeted. "I'm so grateful & humbled. THX 4 all your CONGRATS! YAY 4 Dan Bucatinsky. Can't wait 2 hug Scandal fam at today's table read. And a HUGE thank you to the Primetime Emmys voters! What an absolute honor! Wow. I'll spend the rest of my life saying this and it won't ever be enough but . . . THANK YOU Shonda Rhimes. XOXOXOX."

Michael Douglas — Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie, Behind The Candelabra

"What a treat to take a chance and be rewarded with 15 nominations," he told ET Online. "A great team effort and so well deserved by Steven Soderbergh, Matt Damon, Richard LaGravanese, Jerry Weintraub and all the people that made Behind the Candelabra so effective."

Betty White, Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality – Competition Program, Betty White's Off Their Rockers

"Sorry that the show could not have lasted longer but I am so happy and appreciative of this Emmy nomination," White said in a statement to Us.

Mayim Bialik — Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, The Big Bang Theory

"I am legitimately in shock and beyond honored to be nominated for the second year in a row alongside the inspirational Jim Parsons and our fantastically written show," Bialik told Us. "I can't begin to express how shocked I am to be nominated with such an impressive group of women. Wow! Now I have to find a dress."

Robin Wright — Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, House of Cards

"I'm so proud to be a part of such a ground breaking project as House of Cards," the actress said in a statement to Us. "I'm thrilled that our show has been recognized and I want to thank the academy for this great honor."

Jimmy Fallon — Outstanding Variety Series, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

"Honored to be nominated for an Emmy this morning," Fallon told Us. "Takes the sting away from being snubbed by the ESPYs last night."

Amy Poehler — Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, Parks and Recreation

"I appreciate the nominations. I love my job," Poehler told Access Hollywood. "But nice try, guys. I'm not falling for this old trick again."

Edie Falco — Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, Nurse Jackie 

"It's a huge honor — genuinely exciting to be among these women in my category," Falco said in a statement to ET Online. "These are actresses I've watched and loved for years." 

Melissa Leo — Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series, Louie

"I am over the moon with the nomination this morning!" Leo told Us. "So thrilled and honored to see my name next to such consummate funny ladies! The joy and pleasure of working with Louis CK would have been more than enough – many thanks to the Television Academy!"

Jane Krakowski — Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, 30 Rock 

"This is such an incredible way to celebrate 30 Rock's final season," Krakowski said in statement to Us. "I can't wait to go to the Emmys with my cast mates and dance like no one's watching!" 

Vera Farmiga — Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Bates Motel

"It is such an honor to be recognized by the Academy and in the company of such brilliant women," Farmiga told ET Online. "I'm grateful to Carlton, Kerry and Anthony for gifting me with the opportunity to play such a complex woman and for breathing new life into the iconic Norma Bates."

Ty Burrell — Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Modern Family

"I am honored and humbly surprised that this good fortune continues. I've never had something so wonderful happen 4 years in a row before, other than winning the NY state lottery from 1993 to 97," the actor joked to ET Online. "I share this with the entire cast and crew of Modern Family. I'm sure it's not surprising to anyone who's ever worked on a television show, but our writers are the reason we're still in this position. I'm eternally grateful for their talent and surprising good looks."

Jesse Tyler Ferguson — Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Modern Family 

"I'm thrilled and honestly surprised by this nomination today! I just got off the phone with Eric Stonestreet who was the first to congratulate me. Congrats to Ed, Ty, Sofia, Julie, Chris Lloyd, Steve Levitan, Nathan Lane and our amazing director Gail Mancuso on their nominations as well," Ferguson told ET Online. "We are all so grateful and lucky to have this job and days like this make for an embarrassment of riches. I'm also thrilled to see two of my favorite actors, Tony Hale and Adam Driver receive first time nominations."

Sigourney Weaver — Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie, Political Animal

"Such great news to wake up to. I am thrilled that Political Animals is nominated for Outstanding Miniseries and that Greg Berlanti's compelling vision of Elaine Barrish Hammond and what women bring to the political process continues to be recognized," Weaver told Us. "I am dancing on the table for Ellen Burstyn who rocked that role. And I am very touched and honored that my work as Elaine is nominated. It means so much to me. Thank you to the academy and thank you so much to USA who championed our show."

Don Cheadle — Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, House of Lies

"Given all the hilarious film work I've done, from Traffic to Crash to Flight, it's nice to finally be recognized as the comic genius I am," Cheadle joked in a statement to ET Online. "Thank you, Academy members."

Executive producer Mark Burnett — Outstanding Reality Competition Program, The Voice

"What a tremendous year we have had at The Voice and this is a great reward. Our entire Voice family deserves all the kudos for a great show every week."

Showrunner Beau Willimon — Nine Nominations, House of Cards
