Roll call! Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are steaming up the cover of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. The actors give a first look at their characters Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele from E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey adaption.
The subtly seductive cover shows Dornan — without his scruff! — and Johnson, 24, cozying up together. The British actor is dapper (and sexy!) in a grey, sleek suit as he holds Johnson tight to his chest. Johnson, meanwhile, innocently stares up at the camera as she caresses her lips with her fingers.
Earlier this week, Dornan's leading lady showed off the beginning of her Steele transformation when the natural blonde stepped out with a darker shade of brunette locks in West Hollywood, Calif. on Monday, Nov. 11. As for Dornan, 31, he's been keeping a low profile since his casting news, and was only more notably spotted out with his pregnant wife Amelia Warner late last month in London.
Production on Fifty Shades doesn't begin for another three weeks, but the stars are (clearly) already gearing up for the erotic drama.
"Jamie and Dakota are getting along very well," a source tells Us Weekly. "Production is going very smoothly."
Fifty Shades is set to debut on February 13, 2015. (Universal Pictures just announced that it's original release slated for August 1, 2014 had to be pushed back.)
