Who could resist Jason Sudeikis’ charms? Well, Rebecca Hall tries her best in Us Weekly’s exclusive clip from the pair’s new indie romantic comedy, Tumbledown.
In the film, Hall stars as Hannah, a young Maine widow who’s still coming to terms with the death of her folk-singer husband and trying to move on via a fling with a local meathead, played by Joe Manganiello. Enter Sudeikis: a brash New York writer who comes to their small town to work on a book about her late spouse. The pair soon become unlikely collaborators — in life and love, of course.
Manganiello, who happily wed wife Sofia Vergara off screen two months ago, says he relished being part of a movie love triangle.
“It was just a lot of fun,” he told Us at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on February 1. “I think the more awkward it got, the more fun we all had.”
