Gwen Stefani Gives Tearful Performance of “Used to Love You” on The Voice, Gets Standing Ovation From Blake Shelton

Coach Gwen Stefani taught her contestants a lesson in performing on Monday, Nov. 30. The emotional No Doubt frontwoman, 46, took to the flower-covered Voice stage in a white gown to belt out her new ballad, “Used to Love You.”

The breakup anthem was written about her headline-making summertime split from her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale. Us Weekly recently broke the news that Rossdale had been cheating with the family’s former nanny Mindy Mann.

Gwen Stefani gave an emotional performance on The Voice.

Stefani had tears in her eyes as she belted out lyrics like, “I don’t know why I cry / But I think it’s cause I remembered for the first time / Since I hated you / That I used to love you.” After it was over, coaches Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton were shown giving her a standing ovation.

Stefani and Shelton confirmed to Us they were dating last month via Stefani’s rep.

“Wow… @gwenstefani…. Such an amazing performance. #respect,” the country crooner, 39, tweeted on Monday night.
