‘I Am Cait’ Recap: Caitlyn Jenner Worries Men Won’t Want to Date Her

Caitlyn Jenner is back for round two! The LGBTQ advocate and former Olympian took the next steps in her road to self-discovery during the Sunday, March 6, season 2 premiere of I Am Cait, joining her girl squad on a road trip around the country. Not only did Caitlyn chat about her dating life (spoiler alert: she’s into men), she opened up about being a conservative trans woman and got candid about her feelings for Hillary Clinton. Hint: Those feelings aren’t exactly positive.

Kylie Jenner Won’t Stop Calling Caitlyn “Dad”

Kendall and Kylie Jenner get real! Caitlyn’s daughters bid farewell to their dad pre-road trip, giving Cait’s friends a chance to ask when they started identifying as girls. “I’ve always known,” Kendall said, while Kylie added, “It was never a question because I had so many sisters and I wanted to be exactly like them.”

Kylie also spoke about her changing relationship with Cait, saying that she won’t stop calling her “dad” no matter how many people correct her on social media. “When I post pictures of my dad, or if I say ‘dad,’ people are like, ‘You mean mom?'” the 18-year-old complained to Caitlyn’s friends. “I want to be like, ‘Absolutely not.'”

Meanwhile, Kendall joked that her dad is listed under “Mad” in her phone, “because she’s a little Mad.”

Caitlyn Is 100 Percent Done Dating Women

Caitlyn is ready for Cupid! The star explained that while she’s never been with a man, she doesn’t see herself dating women in the future. “I’ve been there, done that,” she told friends. “Got three very strong ex-wives. I just don’t see it … now I can have an ex-husband.”

Later, Caitlyn explained that sexuality isn’t something she’s completely comfortable being open about. “Talking about my sexuality’s really difficult for me. I want to literally shrivel up and just kinda hide inside me,” she told the camera. “If I was in a relationship with a guy, I would enjoy being treated like that. Opening doors for you, doing what you would think [is] the traditional things in a guy and girl relationship.”

Sadly, Caitlyn expressed concern that no one would want to date her: “Can you imagine if I actually had a date and walked out of a movie theater on a quiet Wednesday night holding hands with somebody? I think they would be really tough on me, and certainly really tough on the guy. It just gets so complicated because of the media. I don’t know any guy who would even want to go through something like that.”

Caitlyn and Candis Cayne Sitting in a Tree?

Sorry, Candis Cayne fans! These BFFs are totally not dating — despite what the rumor mill says. “Here’s the big question,” Caitlyn jokingly told Candis. “If we go on, like, a double date with, like, guys, what about our affair? Would it be over? I mean the tabloids have been running wild with this stuff.”

Later, Caitlyn clarified her friendship with Candis to the camera, explaining, “I love her to death, but I don’t see any relationship from my standpoint going any further than where it is right now.” Guess that’s cleared up!

Caitlyn Jenner Is So Not Here for Hillary Clinton

Caitlyn Jenner is #NotWithHer. “If we’re unfortunate enough to get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side, but she won’t be,” Cait told her friends while complaining about Democrats. “She could care less about women. She cares about herself.”

Caitlyn’s friends seemed shocked by her political beliefs, and author Jenny Boylan claimed that Republicans are more likely to be anti-trans. “Republicans and conservatives are not these horrible people out there,” Cait said in her party’s defense. “I don’t feel like they’re out to get us. Every conservative guy out there believes in everybody’s rights.”

To each their own, but poor Candis was so frustrated with Cait’s beliefs that she ended up walking out on the conversation. Yikes!

Tell Us: Do you think Caitlyn needs to reconsider her politics, or should her friends live and let live?

I Am Cait airs on E! on Sundays at 9 p.m. EST.
