Hot, wet man running! New photos of Jamie Dornan on the set of Fifty Shades of Grey should change the minds of any remaining skeptics who thought he wasn't sexy enough to play Christian Grey. The 31-year-old actor was spotting filming a scene while running in the rain in Vancouver, Canada on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
With rain pouring down, Dornan smoldered in a wet grey sweatshirt and sweatpants that showed off his fit bod. The actor, who welcomed his first child last month with wife Amelia Warner, flashed photographers an adorable grin while getting soaked.
In the big screen adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling erotic novel (part one of a trilogy), Dornan plays wealthy young businessman Christian Grey, who seduces college student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) into his secret world of BDSM.
"Not to sound corny, but it is, at its heart, a young love story. I think those things always work," producer Michael De Luca told Deadline earlier this month.. "No matter what you think about the book, those things are in that story and they are very cinematic. I think people love a good love story and the these two characters endeared themselves to 90 million readers so it's hard to say that it didn't connect on a deeper level than just its more sensationalist aspects, but it was the love story that did it for me."
