Just like out of the movies?!
Right when the guys of MTV's Jersey Shore think they've seen all Italy has to offer, it's time to take a roadtrip to Sicily to meet Vinny Guadagnino's extended family on Thursday's show.
"I'm seeing Sicily for the first time and it looks like Jurassic Park!" Guadagnino, 23, says as he, Pauly D, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro make their way to the locale. "There's volcanos and trees and mist — King Kong is in the bushes — it's really nothing like the Italy we've seen so far."
The Situation, 29, is a little more cautious when setting foot in town. "This is some Mafia-type s–t," he quips. "I don't know if you've ever seen The Godfather II, but it [takes place in] Sicily."
But perhaps Ortiz-Magro, 24, summed up their visit best: "[Vinny's family lives on] a ranch. Four guidos in the woods? Uh, I don't know about that!"
