Hazardous to her health! Real Housewives of New York City alum Jill Zarin currently has mixed feelings about her time on the hit reality show and admits that her issues with her costars were tough to deal with.
"There are some things about it I miss — there's a lot of things I can't personally handle," the 52-year-old reality TV personality told Page Six at Z100's Jingle Ball on Friday, December 11. "It's not healthy for me."
If she were still on the show, Zarin said she would be sure to look out for current cast member Dorinda Medley, who has been feuding with Heather Thomson.
"I love Dorinda — I can't say enough about Dorinda and John [Mahdessian, Medley's boyfriend]," said Zarin, who had friction with former costars Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer before leaving the show in 2011 after season 4. "I wish I was on the show to protect her and help her."
Zarin also made an apparent reference to Frankel, 45, in explaining why she doesn't expect to get invited back to the Bravo series anytime soon.
"I heard that one of the girls doesn't want me back on the show, and that's the way it is — she's in charge," the clothing designer said.
Zarin appeared on Watch What Happens Live in October, where she told host Andy Cohen that she would like to someday patch things up with Frankel, who returned to RHONY in season 7 after three seasons off the series.
"I miss her, and I want to make amends with her," she said. "I do. I mean, we tried two years ago. Listen, she's way moved on, I've way moved on, but there's something about us together that was really incredible. I would like to make up with her."
