Standing by her side. John Legend tweeted his support for wife Chrissy Teigen on Friday, Nov. 27, after her message of support for Planned Parenthood in the wake of the Colorado shootings drew backlash from critics.
Teigen, 29, tweeted about the organization on Friday after a man stormed a clinic in Colorado Springs, Colo., shooting and killing three people and injuring nine others.
“Every time s—t like this happens, John and I immediately make another donation to Planned Parenthood,” the FABLife host tweeted.

Shortly afterwards, the model’s message of support drew negative and sarcastic responses, leading her to argue with numerous people on the social media platform.

Legend, 36, finally stepped in after one particular critique on his wife.
“I am a published author who typed in a hurry,” one person wrote. “Focus less on gramerical errors and more on @PPFA killing kids.”
“Gramerical,” Teigen joked back.
