Sew cool! Kelly Osbourne is set to join Lifetime's Project Runway Junior as a judge on this summer's first season, the reality star announced on Thursday, July 23. The former Fashion Police co-host will join Junior hosts Tim Gunn and supermodel Hannah Davis for the series, which will invite kid designers aged 14 to 17 to show off their best work.
She will judge the series alongside Project Runway Season 4 winner Christian Siriano and Aya Kanai, who serves as the executive editor of Cosmopolitan and Seventeen. "I'm so excited to finally announce that I've joined the incredible Project Runway Junior family!" Osbourne said. "We just had the best first day ever!”
Osbourne, 30, teased fans earlier on Thursday by posting a photo of herself hiding out at Mood Fabrics, the New York City and Los Angeles garment shop where Project Runway designers purchase items for their challenges. "First clue: My new job involves fabric," she Instagrammed, inviting fans to identify #WheresKelly.
The reality star, who has her own clothing line called Stories . . . by Kelly Osbourne, isn't totally new to Project Runway viewers. She appeared as a guest judge on 2011's one-time special Project Accessory, and hosted Project Runway's UK equivalent, Project Catwalk, from 2007 to 2008.
Project Runway Junior is Osbourne's first major TV gig since exiting E!'s Fashion Police in February, after taking issue with co-host Giuliana Rancic's racially insensitive comments made during a fashion critique about Osbourne's friend, actress Zendaya Coleman.
