Kelly Osbourne Lands TV Acting Return — As the “Angel of Digital Death”

Kelly Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne is heading to the wrong side of the law. The Fashion Police alum is marking her return to acting in an upcoming episode of the CBS procedural CSI: Cyber, TV Line reports.

Osbourne, 31, will play Stella Kane, a nefarious hacker who goes by the far more colorful nickname The Angel of Digital Death. Her villainous character, who will go toe-to-toe with the CSI team led by Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette), doesn't actually kill people but uses her computer-coding prowess to file fraudulent death certificates and empty bank accounts.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's middle child has been more focused lately on unscripted appearances than acting gigs. She rose to fame on her family’s MTV series, The Osbournes, and starred on E!'s wardrobe-critique series Fashion Police for five years. She left Fashion Police in February, just a few days after publicly criticizing co-host Giuliana Rancic's controversial joke about Zendaya's Oscars hair.

Osbourne, who voices a character on Disney XD's animated series The 7D, most recently showcased her acting chops while playing a flight attendant in Syfy's wacky Sharknado 2: The Second One in 2014. She was a series regular on ABC's drama series Life As We Know It and had a recurring role on the TBS sitcom Are We There Yet?
