Like many reality stars have before her, Kendra Wilkinson is trying her hand at a career in pop music. The Kendra on Top personality, 30, speaks exclusively with Us Weekly Video and opens up about her new track “Lost in Space” and its accompanying video.
“It’s been a long couple months, like, creating the song and doing the music video,” Wilkinson tells Us in the clip above. “The song is called ‘Lost in Space,’ and remember the old TV show Lost in Space? They pretty much superimposed me into an episode, and the song goes perfectly with the video, and it’s just so cool.”
In the sassy tune, Wilkinson, who’s married to onetime NFL champ Hank Baskett, trumpets self-celebratory lyrics such as, “Can’t keep me on a leash, I’m on a cloud. Don’t have a f–king filter, and I’m allowed.”
Asked to describe the song in her own words, the mother of two explains, “The vibe is like, you know, ‘I’m not dead. I still flirt, like, I still got it.’ You know, ‘I’m not gonna cross the line or anything, but I wanna know if I still got it.’”
However, the former Playboy model — who tells Us she “always had a dream of having [her] own music video” — is still unsure how to label her, er, talent.
“Like, I’m not really a singer, so I can’t make up with my voice. I’m kind of a rapper, so what do I do?” the Girls Next Door alum says. “I’m creating my own genre. It’s like pop mixed with rap, mixed with a little bit of EDM. So it’s kind of like in that mix.”

“Lost in Space” is now available on iTunes. Its music video will be released on Friday, May 20, at 10 p.m., following the season 5 finale of Kendra on Top on WE tv.
