Live on NBC…it’s Kim Kardashian!
Kardashian took 30 Rock fans by surprise Thursday when she popped up in a cameo during the NBC hit’s second live show. Appearing as herself during the West Coast broadcast of “Live From Studio 6H,” the reality star, 31, took part in a skit opposite Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) and Liz Lemon (Tina Fey).
In the scene, Jack and Liz discussed the pros and cons of live TV before they were interrupted by Kardashian — clad in a black top, pants and a tan blazer — who stumbled into Jack’s office to use his restroom.
Later, when Liz remarked that 2.5 million people watched Jenna’s (Jane Krakowski) boyfriend Paul (Will Forte) propose to her on The Girlie Show‘s live broadcast, Twitter superstar Kardashian went ahead and filmed the scene with her digital video recorder and replied, “Now 14 million people just saw that. You’re welcome.”
Kardashian wasn’t the only celeb who took part in Thursday’s show. Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm — who referred to Kardashian an “idiot” in a dig last May — appeared in a parody of Amos ‘n’ Andy, while Fey’s former SNL colleague Amy Poehler starred as a teenage version of Fey’s character Lemon.
Sir Paul McCartney, Jimmy Fallon and Fred Armisen also took part in Thursday’s show, which was 30 Rock‘s second live episode.
