Those are some diva perks! Mariah Carey was treated to a luxurious champagne bubble bath when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, June 2 — and the show host jumped into the tub with her too!
Despite the fact she was dressed in a stunning, glittering gown, Carey didn’t hesitate when Jimmy Kimmel revealed his special treat and invited the mom of two to step into the candlelit bath, fully clothed and covered in jewels.
“Do you take baths with your clothes on?” Kimmel asked his guest.
“Actually, now I do, because I have two babies, and they just turned 5, and they’re very much into the discovery of it all,” Carey said, laughing. “And I’m like, ‘I’ll be wearing my bathing suit in the tub.’ It’s very annoying.”
“I will get in if you get in,” offered Kimmel, and the pair stepped in, shoes and all. Carey’s only concern was that the bubbles would spoil her hair!
Once the champagne had been served by a couple of shirtless hunks, Carey then took the opportunity to flaunt her engagement ring and chatted to her show host about her marriage (and whether or not it would be in Las Vegas).
“This is real, this is water!” Carey exclaimed partway through the interview, suddenly realizing how bizarre the entire experience was. “I’m actually taking a bath with Jimmy Kimmel!” she added, as she arranged her now soaking-wet dress in the bath
