Matt Czuchry’s Logan Returning for ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival: Details

Time to step up your games, Dean and Jess! Matt Czuchry, who played Rory Gilmore’s boyfriend Logan Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls, is returning for the show’s Netflix revival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Czuchry is the first of Rory’s (Alexis Bledel) former paramours to be confirmed for the reboot. Rory and Logan dated on and off throughout the series’ final three seasons, with their relationship coming to an end in the next-to-last episode when she rejected his proposal.

Netflix confirmed earlier this week that it is bringing back the popular series, which ran for seven seasons before signing off in May 2007. The revival’s title, number of episodes and launch date have not been announced.

Gilmore Girls‘ fans frequently debate which of Rory’s men is best for her — and allegiances are divided between upper crust Yalie Logan, hometown guy Dean (Jared Padalecki) and bad boy Jess (Milo Ventimiglia).

Bishop recently praised the reboot’s scripts in a TV Line interview, adding that Richard Gilmore (the late Edward Herrmann) will still remain a “presence” in the update.
