This will be a season of transition for the long-running ABC dance competition series. Six-time mirrorball champion Derek Hough will skip season 22 as he prepares for a key role in Broadway's upcoming musical Singin' in the Rain. Meanwhile, his sister, Julianne Hough, a two-time winner on the show, will not return after three seasons on the judges panel. Len Goodman, who was absent in season 21, will be back.
