The Real Housewives of New Jersey Strippergate scandal left Teresa Giudice‘s relationship with her brother, Joe Gorga, in tatters — and as Sunday’s reunion (part three) suggests, Giudice is apparently trying to force their parents, Giancinto and Antonia, to take sides.
“Every time they’re together, she tells them this laundry list of terrible things about us,” Gorga’s wife, Melissa, tells Us Weekly. “They’re more distant with us now. Joe [Gorga] feels like she’s poisoned their brains. Teresa needs them, so they’re standing by her.”
Also standing by Giudice is her husband, Joe, who gets into an epic screaming match with his brother-in-law during Sunday’s reunion show when he challenges his sister’s claim that Gorga was “breaking Mommy and Daddy’s heart” by steering clear of them.
“You’ve got to stop this, Teresa. If you stop, we can maybe be a family,” Gorga tells his sister before she begs her husband to interject. “Shut the f–k up! What do you know about me, stupid?” Joe Giudice snaps back. Jacqueline Laurita then tries to step in, but is rebuffed by reunion host Andy Cohen. (Watch a clip above)
Though the Gorga and Giudice men were verbally attacking each other during Sunday’s episode — taped in September — they stopped short of coming to blows. Explains Melissa Gorga to Us: “There were security guards everywhere!”
