Practice makes perfect? Sister Wives‘ Maddie Brown, daughter of Kody Brown and second wife Janelle Brown, directs her entire family during her wedding rehearsal in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek at the Sunday, December 18, episode.
The TLC series’ preview clip shows Maddie, 21, talking to her family through a microphone from the altar as she prepares to wed fiancé Caleb Brush. “Family, you are more than welcome to be here. However, I’m going to ask that you remain quiet,” she says. “I don’t care about your input right now.”
The frustrated bride-to-be tells the camera, “That is why I told people don’t come till later this morning to help set up. Because I kind of know my family. And his family does it too where there’s a bunch chiefs and no [followers].”
Maddie continues to be in boss mode at the rehearsal as she informs her loved ones, “Meri is going to be back there lining everyone up.”
Meri Brown explains to the camera, “Madison has asked me to just kind of take charge of everything tomorrow, the day of the wedding, while she’s taking care of getting ready to get married.”
The wedding party takes a shot at rehearsing the processional, but even after multiple tries, there are still plenty of hiccups. “We actually have to do it over and over. This is why: because they were trying to get the timing with the music right,” Kody admits to the camera. “Then we have to do it again — and again and again.”
